Annan’s Restaurant serves a full a la carte menu from Monday through to Saturday

Annan’s at the River of Gold Motel is fully licensed, offering patrons excellent dining with a comprehensive menu and wine list.

We have a delicious selection of meals on the internationally acclaimed, Stonegrill, along with a comprehensive a la carte menu.

Room service, with the exception of Stonegrill, is also available.

However you choose to dine, we aim to make you feel relaxed and entertained, and enjoy in the exceptional experience that is the Annan’s Restaurant in Cooktown.

Open for dinner to locals and visitors, Monday through to Saturday, the team is committed to quality, consistency and service. Bookings are encouraged to avoid disappointment

Our bar, originally named after the Maytown township that once serviced the Palmer Goldfields, is a great place to relax, enjoy a drink and have a chat.

Drinks are available to in-house guests from reception, 7 days.

Breakfast is served in the dining room every morning, comprising of a continental buffet and hot breakfasts, cooked to order from our menu, bookings required.

Annan’s also offers an airconditioned function venue. Annan’s Restaurant is ideal for special event celebrations, corporate functions, business meetings, coach groups or simple gatherings with friends and family. The restaurant also doubles for day time use as a training or conference centre. Menus can be created to suit your function, event or special occasion.
